High performance requirement

It is through high level competition that osteopathy became popular in sport during the 80’s. Formerly reserved for an elite, osteopathy has been popularized and made more accessible since 15 years thanks to the official recognition of osteopathy (Law 2002 Decree 2007).

But also thanks to the popularization of disciplines as the triathlon, marathon and fitness gyms which now propose better modules of physical preparation than few years ago.

The high-level sportsman is in the sport, what F1 is in motor racing. Like in car industry, numerous protocols and techniques were first tested and validated in high competition, before being validated for regular or amateur sportsmen who have less time for it, but still want to stay as healthy as possible.
